Personally, I would pay UPS to package it professionally, because it is my understanding that if they package, they take responsibiltiy for damage in transit while if you package, damage is your responsibility.
Also they have the materials on hand and don't have to buy in excess material for a one-off sale.
And although I'm not your mother, I am somebody's, so I can't resist saying,"This is something to consider BEFORE listing."
