Hi - I recently acquired 2 large pieces of yellow silk satin, heavily embroidered. The smaller piece is 55" wide from selvedge to selvedge and about 67 1/2" long.
On one selvedge are Chinese characters. And on another, are more, different ones. Can you help me to decide what the purpose of this piece of fabric would have been, and what the Chinese characters say or how I can find out?
