Cleaning Vintage Advertising Feed Sacks

I've purchased a really neat vintage feed sack with great graphics.  It's in good shape, but has that woofy smell of old storage.  I'd like to wash it gently using an oxygen color bleach, but am worried about the colorfastness of these types of dyes.  Any suggestions or cautions?

I am by no means an expert on this, but when I used oxiclean on a feedsack it completely faded the colors out. Maybe just try using Tide in cool water. I'm sure someone else will know more.
