automatically added refinements in ebay motors with no way to remove them

Just wanted to see if anyone else who deals with the motors category is as frustrated as i am with trying to search for parts. Ebay seems to think automatically adding refinements to my search will help. Well they don't help because whoever is setting up these auto-refinements (no pun intended) has no idea about anything to do with motorcycles at least. Here is an example, i just attempted to search for a shift lever in the motorcycle parts category, a simple search with no refinements set. I hit enter and at the top of my search results there is a header that reads "Showing results that fit a Shift 550" with no way to remove this refinement. FIrst of all i have never heard of a motorcycle called a shift 550, and second of all i never entered any refinements so why are they forced on my search without any way to remove them. It is a invalid refinement that has to limit my search results. It is so aggrivating, can't ebay just leave the motors department alone and functional for the peopl who use, and have been using it for years??

Not really sure that shift 550 actually means anything. Hum? Perhaps that is a category number?

8418 used listings, every possible year, make model.

Hunt and peck away.

Do this search: "shift lever -550". I still get 8204 used items, but it takes that "shifft 550" refinement out.

shift 550 is the model of motorcycle ebay seems to think i am searching for parts for when i entered "shift lever" in the search bar. i have no idea where the "shift 550" came into play. All i wanted to see was search results in the motorcycle parts category that included the words "shift lever" in the title.
