Darn! All the $2,000 mint late-model like-new dump trailers I see on my local Cl are always black! Maybe I could talk them down a little.

I'm going to buy the $2500 John Deere tractor with backhoe and loader, so I can load my new dump trailer! At least THAT'S green!

SCAM???

A 2013 Griffin? She told me it was a 2000 Morgan and said it would be delivered tomorrow from the Seattle warehouse, via Greyhound bus. Now I'm going to have to wait until Tuesday to get in touch with her, since tomorrow is a federal holiday and she's a government worker.

Since I paid mine early, she's going to give me a "two-fer" at no extra charge.

...an her husband died and she has no use for it.  But she needs to get rid of it and is selling it for 1/10 th of the actual value and using eBay to facilitate the sale..............

SCAM.  There's no such lady, that's not her trailer and those pictures were taken off the internet to use to scam buyers out of their money.

Good Moms let you lick the Beaters.

Great Moms turn them off first.

SCAM???

I never bother reporting the scams- it's pointless. Anyone who'd be foolish enough to fall for such, is going to lose their money one way or another anyway if they're that foolish; and by the time they take down one bogus ad, three new ones are up anyway. Sometimes people have to learn the hardway. There are all kinds of scams out there, and always have been and will be....just as there will always be those who are so greedy that they let their greed to get "that once in a lifetime deal" blind them to all common sense.

I 100% agree. Reporting is a self indulgence game. It does nothing to prevent. The problem is not the scammers, it is the people believing they have found the Holy Grail.

You see them every day. They use the payday loan shoppes. They buy the extended warranties. They are the "we can finance anyone" people. They buy lottery tickets as their retirment plan. They are the "if I can just catch a break people" always rushing from one bad decision to another.

They are the people that call trades people for everything. I had a plumbing issue, in the house, I was told "CALL A PLUMBER!". Why? Pay them for the work I can do? It is the same work. I kept my money.

Furnace carped out on me a week ago. I went instant ballistic anxiety panic, and then, went, wait a second. Took off the lower cover and found that the pulley had come off the blower. That is seven minutes of my life I will never get back.

Had a friend, couple weeks back, contact me in a panic. They had smacked the passenger side mirror on their 2012 van, did I have one. That was a hen's teeth part. They were gonna get the part from Honda $600. Yeah, I know. They were going to go the insurance company route. Double, yeah, I know. I looked around the country, and found the part for them, for $85 plus shipping. Who's yer daddy!

How many "scams" were involved in that?

Dumb is dumb and smart is smart, ya cannot teach one to the other.
