How To Identify Parts With NSN Part Numbers?

So, I have a bunch of new old stock parts, some automotive, some not that have NSN (national Stock Number) part numbers that the military uses, has anybody found a good way to identify these types of parts? I’m not having much luck figuring out.

Automotive stuff usually has the OEM number on it somewhere as well, or possibly a casting number directly on the part. Those should be searchable.

Thank you,
I think the stuff I’m trying to identify must be aircraft related, they do have the manufacturers part number on them as well as the manufacturers name, but I’m still coming up with nothing, it would just be easier to list them if I could figure out what they fit.

Automotive stuff typically has the OEM range on it someplace as nicely, or in all likelihood a casting range directly at the component. Those should be searchable.
