Ok aside from 3 and half days in Denver, (which I will see a bit of trains) the only day that will be train free is the day we're in the black hills. (I think there is DME there but not sure to what scale) and a couple hours in Wyoming. For the most part, my route thru Wyoming and Nebraska will follow BNSF so there will be no shortage of photography. I figured that out after following my route on Google satellite Map. What a great tool for planning trips.

Should make a contest. How many trains will I see and/or photograph? I know I'll seee more trains that what I will be able tocapture on film. need a Go Pro camera mounted on car.

bring a knife and cut a notch in dash for every train I see. heheh.

Gee you get to go places. All I can do is drive around the Rock and we don't do that much because the damn dog doesn\t travel well. Wish I could get away.......from a lot of stuff.

can't put puppy in a kennel? just an idea. Yea, sounds like for past year or so you could use a vacation from the rock.

Tried a kennel once and she went nuts inside it. Was not kennel raised so that will not work. Looked into boarding her out so we could travel by ourselves even around the rock. Couldn't find a place that was clean enough or recommended by the vet. Frankly I wouldn't put my worst enemy in some of those places. Guess we are stuck unless we take separate vacations. I could do that easily.
