Unbelievable Dave! It's only 4C here today and lots of fog. Back to normal. We had our two days of summer. You have AC? Wow! Are you special. They haven't heard of it here yet...... B-)

Irritations #2

After building around the tracks for my brewery, this is where a person might want to have a complete idea of industry type and structures shape and size for determining the track layout for that industry. Hell half my railroad is like that. it'll look OK onc structures have been built and smaller commercial buildings inplace to fill up the community.

Jr. is going to run with JJ and the cry baby as partners? Give me a break! He should have gone to Childress to run the #3 again. Oh, well. I suppose Bud will not be with him any more either. It's going to be hard for Jr's fans to root for him in a Hendrick car. Next year should be interesting. B-)

I think he'll have a better future at Hendrick's. Those guys have their sh@t together. Bud might be going with him. CJ]:)

Don't forget Bud sponsored Ricky Craven wasn't it when it was the #25 car at hendricks. I think JR should have gone to RCR and came out in style in a black #3. I think the fans (nascar in general) would have loved to see a new life once again for #3.

About the time Jr. said he was leaving DEI, Childress and DEI made a combined engine agreement, I believe for Childress to take over DEI engine program. Plus rumors float that she is talking to Yates about a merger with DEI (and go to Ford). So that may have been the reason for going with Hendrick's. That *itch will do anything for a buck (cleaned up). Lou

Dave, You already received the Yukon car? What about the engine? They are both out this month. My Yukon should be in the mail from Caboose. The engine is coming from 4Nscale. Stupid me reserved from two different places. B-)

Had you not reserved as early, I could have reserved your stuff at my LHS. LHS got a call from MTL or Walthers and they were confirming his order so he is guessing they are still coming this month. He has an order for 12 I think and 2 were spares for the shop (rest are spoken for) but someone came in wanting the 2 so he tried to order 2 more as spares to sell but doesn't look like he will get them.

Pour some gas down each nest opening, light it off and have roasted ants for a snack. They are very nice sprinkled on ice cream...... With all the bans on poisons today it is hard to find anything that will kill the little buggers. I have some diazinon concentrate left over from before the ban that works very well on the ants. Seriously, how about some used motor oil? B-)

For ants around my bee hives I dig one spade of the hill up and pour straight gas into the hole, about a couple of cups and sprinkle the piece of ground I dug up also. Then I stand back and light it once it is going well I replaced my divot and let it burn out completlty. Success every time. Just completed three of them in the bee yard. Two days later no ants. All it leaves is a divot size patch of burnt lawn which I reseed and it grows well Jack

We have RED ants here in Fl. and I used to use Amdrow which worked great. The trick is to cover your whole yard so if by some chance the queen makes it out there is no place for here to go execpt out of your yard. Just don't treat the mound treat your whole yard. Chuck. PS: I am also alergic to them. Ended up in the hospital the first time I tangled with them.

Chuck, I sympathize with you. I'm allergic to bees and the first time I encountered the red ant in Fl I was in pain for months. I actually stood on top of an ant hill in a vacant yard to take pictures of the house next door we had just built. By the time I got back to the car I was covered in biting red ants. Some were even in my shorts! Not a pleasant feeling! I used to use Amdrow in AZ until they became immune to it. Dave, See. Jack and I agree about the gas. Exhaust pipe is fixed. Whoopee! Ford wanted $403 just for the part; never mind the labor and clamps and whatever extras they could ding me for. Minute Muffler ordered the part, which came from NC no less, paid the shipping on that pipe and installed it into my car for the grand sum of $191, tax and labor included. Also checked my brake squeal for free and fixed it no charge. Just some accumulated rust on the edge of the left front rotor. It's OK now. Did I mention it was for free? A good day actually. B-)
