How to post a picture within a topic.

Finally figured it out. A while ago CJ gave me a site to host images anywhere. It works here. I guess you have to use an outside image hosting service now in the groups. I used www.imageshack.us/ for the below picture. Once registered, you browse your photos, copy the link to "hot link to websites", forget the other links to groups etc. as they don't work right, and then you paste the picture into the message block. Simple. Might I suggest that we limit the inclusion of pictures to one per posted message. We can still add a bunch of pics in the albums and just include one as a teaser to what is in the album if there are a series of shots posted to the albums. We can't link directly to the album but we can tell which album the new pictures are in. OK?

Barry, With your slow dial-up you might not be able to use the service, but try it sometime. Just go to the web site mentioned and register. Let us know if it works. It's free! Gene, HUH! What? Hey guys, good news. The photo link to our albums is back. You no longer need an outside host. There is a catch though. You must scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page to get to the reply box. Below it you will see the photo link. Do not use the button at the top of the page to reply to a topic. The photo link is not included there. Another thing that needs to be cleared up, but at least we can refer to our albums again. So, Barry, let's see those pictures of the depot kit you just won.......;-)
