A video web site

Here's a link to my web site that has several clips of my trains. The quality is not really good, don't know why, but you guys can also start your own web site with the link in this one. I am using the free one right now which limits the amount of video or photo space you can use each month. I just opened this so you could see some videos besides the pictures in the album here. Dave can post some of his videos that he sends me if he opens one of these web links. It's fun and it's FREE! Try it guys. http://peter-catalano.magix.net Just click on the "Train Videos" and then choose the one you want to view. Some of them need the sound to be turned up full. Especially the one called "Noisy Night". Listen carefully for the gun fight at the saloon and the honky tonk piano at Wanda's. Just where is the Sheriff? SmileyCentral.com

That's really nice Pete. Great videos, looked good on my end. Liked your new beer sign. Even noticed the blinking red light in the window. Wish They had sound in N scale like that. Chuck 🙂

Pete, I now can live vicariously through your Class B Climax. Thanks for sharing. Neat site and great videos. Gene By the way I have reserved an NCE powercab through Empire Northern who will have a booth at the State Fair Train show this November. I'll pick it up then. I've also reserved a Precision Craft M1b N Scale steamer but that isn't due until April of 07. My hope is that I will get familiar with CV's and learn how to program the loco as well as become a little more familiar with DCC. The old dog new tricks proverb may come in to haunt me! I don't know though if I would want too many sound equipped loco's running at the same time!!

Gene, You can and should adjust the sound volume so you don't actually hear the locos all the way around the layout nless you are following it around. If you are stationary and the trains go away from you, the sound should go away too, just like the real thing. Then when it comes back around the loop toward you, you can hear it again. Also, function #8 on most decoders is "sound off" so you can run silent or answer the phone. They think of everything..... CodFadda

Hi Pete. I am very green with envy at your various scenes. Very well done. I am still not any good at landscapeing. Greetings to all from Holland. John (Chips).

Barry, Can you receive video files like AVI or WMV? If you are not able, I'll burn a disc of all the stuff I have done, boring though it is, and send it in the package later. B-)

A disc sounds good to me, being in the bush has it's drawbacks as far as computers, but I can put up with that for the peace and quiet, unless I want to make some noise. Barry...not really a hermit 😉
