eBay requesting app update

@charro_9712 If you're working on an outdated device that no longer supports current versions of the eBay app, you should be able to access eBay through a web browser on your device.

If you're on iOS 15 you should still be able to get a version of the app that will run on your device. Follow these instructions from eBay:

  1. Delete your eBay app.
  2. Go to the App Store, search for eBay.
  3. When you download it you will see this alert, tapping download should allow you to get a version that will run on your device.

eBay requesting app update

@charro_9712

If your device is Apple iPhone or iPad you can update from the App store.

 If it's Android you can update from Google play.

You asked this same question in October didn't you read the responses?

eBay requesting app update

Thank you so much for answering. No, I missed the replies from Oct, somehow. I'm not very tech savvy. I went to the ebay app and did not see anywhere to update. I  have an iPad. I looked and looked and couldn't see any prompts. When I tried to get into ebay, it gave me a prompt to update which just took me to the app store and I found no info there. Again,  thanks!

Thank you so much for taking the time to help me with this! Very, very kind of you. I feel from looking at this information, it will do the trick. My iPad is not very old, I think a year or year and a half at most. Again, thanks!!

If your iPad is not old @charro_9712 then all you need to do is go to the App store, search for eBay, then click the update link. You do this from the App store (blue icon), not from within the eBay app.
