Watchlist folders

On the .ca desktop site, there is a option to create folders in the watchlist drop-down menu. When the watchlist becomes too long, you can  organize some of the items into these folders. The problem is, there doesn't appear to be a way to access these folders using the mobile app (android & .ca). Why is that? When will this be fixed? Thank you

Thanks for reporting this. Custom folders is currently available on desktop site and we are looking to expanding this  on the app in the future.

Watchlist folders

That reply is so vague, it is basically a non-answer. I certainly will not mark it as "helpful", because it's not. I would like this topic to remain open until someone with can supply a *real* answer.

The app only has access to your Watch list; that's the way it was designed.

If you want to access your custom lists (Wish list, etc) from your phone, your best bet at this time is to use a browser in desktop mode. Most phone browsers will default to the mobile site, so you will have to override that to request the desktop site. Here's a helpful link:

"That's the way [the app] was designed." - Well obviously. And eBay states that they are looking at changing the design of the app to include Watchlist folders "in the future". That's unacceptable. There is no reason why we shouldn't be able to access those folders *now*. And we shouldn't have to resort to using the "desktop site"... in lieu of of the *mobile app*... on our *mobile devices*... and if the desktop site is even accessible. It's 2019 people. We put a man on the moon *60 years ago*, there is no reason why we should have to put up with such silly limitations with our technology today. Can eBay at least provide an ETA for this design update? (so this whole exercise isn't just a huge a waste of time)
