Unauthorized emails from eBay

I recently received emails from ebay regarding listings in which I had zero interest.  They were emails for a pair of shoes identical to a pair of shoes on my watchlist EXCEPT they were in a different size.  What use would I possibly have for a pair of shoes in the wrong size?  On top of that, I have opted out of receiving emails for the search related to the shoes in the right size that I have on my watchlist.  Therefore, even if this other listing were for the exact shoes in the right size, I should not be receiving unsolicited emails about them.  Ebay is really overstepping their boundaries here.

If the email bothers you, then either send it to spam, and/or ignore and delete.

That would be a temporary solution to an ongoing problem.  Deleting the ebay app would be a more permanent solution.  I only posted my concerns in this forum because I received a request that I do so from developer eBay, Inc. via Apple's app store.
