Did you fix it mines doing the same too many request

Not sure if this is a fix:
I was receiving the error while on cellular data (I was on a boat, no WiFi). I just tried it connected to WiFi and it worked. I disconnected WiFi to go to cellular, and it still works. I don't know if this is a permanent fix or if the issue will return (e.g. if I reboot the phone with no WiFi available) but will have to wait and see.

Switch to wifi, that worked for me, too.

If you receive "too many requests error" try logging in with wifi instead of the cellular connection.

I have an Android tablet which only connects via WiFi (no cell/mobile data). I've tried turning tablet off/on and disabled/enabled WiFi but I'm still getting same issue. I have been able to log on through Google chrome, to post this reply! Only seems to affect the Android app.....

I am having this too many requests issue too. I cannot login to, or even search in eBay on my android tablet at home (with WiFi on!) But I am able to log in and search on my mobile (Galaxy S7) with or without wifi at home so I don't see how it can be down to the service provider.
