Need help can't log in android app

Hi ebay, 

I have an Huawei p40. This phone don't have Google play services and I don't need them but when I try to log in at eBay app I am unable to.. Just saying request invalid... Why? Can you help?

How are you getting the latest version of the eBay app (5.42.0.8) without Google Play Store/Google Play Services?

Older versions of the app typically stop working at some point.

You can find apk files for every app in the market.. Just Google it. No need for Google services

Also I can get it on ebay website not necessarily need to open with Google play.. I just don't get it when I try to log in it gives me error

Yes you need Google play for good experience. No eBay messages using Huawei for example
