Messaging is not sending content

I'm running the 5.27.1.2 app on the latest update of Nougat on a Moto E4 Plus, complete with the security update released by Motorola/Lenovo several days ago.

I sent a "Contact Seller" message, and apparently none of the message content was included. I got a message back from the seller, asking if I 'had a question'. I replied with the same message, but got no reply.

I checked sent messages in the app, and the 2 messages sent don't show up in the sent list. I looked at the sent list on my desktop, and neither one shows there either. As far as I can tell, anything I send is only getting to the seller as a blank message.

I have not tried sending anything from the desktop, as I suspect the only issue is within the Android app, and not happening when using a browser.

Not sure if this is related to your issue, but the current latest version of the eBay app is 5.35.0.13 -- it might be worth installing the latest version.

You can quickly switch between cellular and wifi.
