I ordered a book that was supposed to arrive six days ago at the latest. This item also doesn't show up in my purchase history. However, I got an email the same day or following day I ordered that was from eBay saying ".. Your order is being shipped" at which point it repeated my address, gave me estimated delivery dates, a link (in the form of a clickable item name) & photo of the item, and the order number and item ID and things like that. HOWEVER, when I tap on the item name (this is still from that email) it takes me to a bare page with a red message near the top saying... "Order not found" and that there's an "..error retrieving your order". What does this all mean? Was is shipped? If not, how can I contact the seller for a refund when the item doesn't even show up in my purchase history? Please help 😞

Better off contacting customer service, such as it is,and asking them.If not, just put in a INR and get a refund

If it's six days overdue, why not open an item not received case?

Hi @trinie35! I can see it in your Purchase History on the desktop version of the website. I also see this is a guest purchase and because you have a registered account with the same email address, that can cause issues like this. The system wants to sign you into the registered account and that's why you aren't seeing the guest purchase.
I would suggest clearing the cache and cookies on a browser, and then clicking that email from an incognito/private browser. Sometimes that will work and let you back into the guest purchase. If not, you can go here to private message a teammate from our Social team, or DM @AskeBay on Twitter. They can help you to get the Item Not Received claim started.

I see that velvet@ebay gave you a reason why you aren't seeing the purchase.
I just wanted to add that if you haven't received the item, it's possible that the seller uses media mail to ship books and that service is slow as death!
And in fact, the seller (on at least 2 accounts) has quite a few feedbacks indicating really slow delivery.

Good call out @albertabrightalberta. You have 30-days from the latest estimated delivery date to start the claim @trinie35 but if you don't want to wait, then you're free to start that process now.
