I have been unable to see a way to increase my max bid (ie if I've been outbid) from my iPhone app during an auction. Is this possible or not? Or do I have to use the website?

If you go to the item and tap increase bid the keyboard should show up. Type the value and Confirm Bid. Are you able to get to the screen with the keyboard?

I don’t see a button that says increase bid. Could you please screenshot that for me?

If you open the app, tap my ebay, tap bids and offers, open the item you are the high bidder on or out bid it should be at the top of the screen.

A bid that you set to determine the highest amount that you're willing to pay for a click on your ad. If someone clicks your ad, that click won't cost you more than the maximum cost-per-click bid (or "max.Click My eBay at the top of any eBay page . You may be asked to log in. From the left column of My eBay, click the “Bidding” link. In the Action column next to the item you're interested in, click the Increase Max Bid link.
Never place a maximum bid higher than you would want to pay, because if anyone else bids that high, you just might have to pay what you bid. This is why it's critical to determine exactly what the item is worth — to you, and bid exactly that.

Sorry to dig up this thread, but many years later this problem is still unsolved.
Why? This should be a core function.
