Image Search Not Working

Last night and again today, whenever I do an image search in the iOS eBay app, I get results that have nothing to do with the image I used. Last night I kept getting photos of flowers and flowering plants. Today I just get a hodge podge of unrelated items.

 I just up graded the app and now the search results are the same hodge podge again and again regardless of what image I use.

I have been having the same issues since update and use an iphone.

Same.  It’s been taking me hours of extra time using Google lens which is perfect at finding what I need using the camera but to go back to EBAY and manually type everything in has been extremely time consuming.  
On top of that, I also can not use the “sold” feature on my EBAY app and I am about to set up a store! 
At first it was saying I exceeded my daily limit of searching using the sold feature When I only used it a few times, it was early in the morning, I still had eight hours to go!!!! Now I can’t use it at all from any of my emails or just my phone when I log out. 
I’ve called eBay every day, I message them. I keep talking to people that don’t know what the “sold” feature is. I have to keep explaining it which is taking up even more time.  Supposedly am IT ticket was created with no activity or response.  It has halted every single thing I’m doing and financially affecting me.  This is so disappointing.

My camera is showing me the most random pictures.  I thought I didn’t have enough light at first… lol but the results made zero sense. 
Not being able to see what has SOLD….. no camera….seems Hopeless.

I’ve had “best match” selected and never had the lockable feature enabled and I still can’t use the camera.  It will show completely unrelated results.  I can’t even use the “sold” feature either so it makes being mobile completely pointless if I’m using the eBay app as a platform to sell.  I am about to open up a store, so I have huge concerns. 
Nobody can help me In customer service.

I seem to be getting reasonable looking image search results using the latest Android version of the eBay app (6.178.0.1). What version number of the app are you using, and which operating system version number?

If the app is not working for you, try using a browser instead, and use Google Lens to identify images.
