It is in your best interest NOT to close the case until you get your item. If you close the case and your item does not arrive, you cannot reopen the case.
Keep the case open until you either get the item as promised or your money. The seller has 30 days from the day that you opened the case to get that item to you. If the item does not arrive before those 30 days, escalate the case and eBay will make a final decision and will most likely refund you for your purchase.
