How do I change my email on eBay? It’s an old email and I do not even have the password anymore

Go to Personal information - opens in new window or tab in My eBay. Select Edit beside Email address. Enter your new email address and the verification code. Select Save.

I have the same problem, i dont know my password. if i enter a new email address do they have to send a message to my old one to verify its me?

Once you are in the app go to my ebay, settings, account info. In this area you can update to a new email address.

I did the change email to change to the email address I have had for many years and the one I use.  When I typed it in I got the response it was already in use. Kind of impossible.  Where do I go from thst?

Each eBay account needs a unique email address. If you are seeing a message that an email address is already in use, that means it is associated with another eBay account and you will need to use a different email address for this eBay account.

If you use gmail, one possible workaround to create a unique email address linked to your existing account inbox:
