Browser Not Supported

Check your default browser setting on your device. Try setting it to Chrome or Firefox if you are using something more exotic like Samsung Internet.

Browser Not Supported

Hi,

My default browser is Chrome.

This happened last year but was sorted when Ebay updated app.

Chrome is a supported browser, so if that is indeed your default browser, you should not be getting that message or having any problems checking out.

I have not experienced any problems checking out using the eBay app when also using Chrome as my default browser.

You may want to double check to make sure that Chrome is still set as your default browser and that it is up to date; an OS update or the opening of a different browser once may have inadvertently altered your settings.

Browser Not Supported

Some users have reported similar problems recently when using a Duck Duck Go browser. If you have used such a browser on your device, check to make sure it did not inadvertently get set as your default browser.

It might be worth changing your default browser to another browser, regardless of the current settings, to see if that allows you to complete your purchase.

Try tapping and holding your browser icon, then using the little "i" in a circle icon for information about your browser settings. Your default browser settings should be under "Advanced" > "Browser App".

At least that is how it works for me using Android 11.
