App not working right

I try to use the ebay app yesterday and tried to get on it today and it keeps saying please update to the newest version and as I hit the update button and there isn't any way, shape or form for the app to be updated and I also tried to uninstall the app and reinstall it a couple times and it still says the same thing each time I try to use the ebay app on a LG k8v cell phone and I'm also getting upset that I get get the updated for the app for ebay updated

What version number of the app do you have now?

You said you uninstalled the app and reinstalled, but did you shut down your phone in between the uninstall and reinstall? That can ensure a clean install if the problem was with a previous installation.
