I have a OnePlus 13 and right out of the box the play store says eBay is not compatible. I factory reset my phone and I still have the same issue.
I used adb debugging and rewrote an eBay apk and forced installed the app. When I was finally able to install, my phone asked if I was sure I wanted to UPDATE the app ....... So eBay is baked natively into my phone but completely unusable and doesn't show up in system files.
Someone please help me with this nightmare.

I don't think you'll find anybody on this forum that has the knowledge to help since you rooted your phone and applied customization.
I read your posts on Reddit here and here and it seems you're getting a lot of responses there.
You can file a tech report with eBay. If you can't log in to the eBay app you probably won't be able to report through the app, but you can report through the eBay website and mention it's an app issue. Click the ? icon on the lower right corner of the eBay home page.
From what I read though, this does not appear to be on eBay's end. The problem appears to stem from rooting your phone.
I realize eBay was natively installed on the phone, and it was an older version which caused issues, but you rooted the phone before you could sort that and update the app. I did read that you couldn't find the natively installed app anywhere in the system files, but again, since you rooted the phone that brings you past initial troubleshooting that might have resolved that problem.
I saw you mention OnePlus 13 tech support was pretty useless when you called. Maybe try again to get a different rep? Not sure if they can or will help since you rooted the phone. Like I said above, Reddit or maybe this forum will be a better avenue for getting assistance.
