App Update on iPad

I’ve been on eBay since 1999, over that period, only buying, I have purchased over 2,600 items, only to find out today that the App needed updating, and it can’t be done on my iPad, says install an older download, but not how this is possible?

Do those who do Apps & Updates not understand we can’t all afford new iPads just for app updates! So annoyed.

Can anyone help or advise Please?

There seem to be a lot of app issues coming out of the UK the past several days. You've posted in the US forums. You may find more people experiencing the problem on the UK forums. I see several threads on the topic on the UK Technical Issues forum. Good luck finding a solution!

Instructions here: How to update your eBay app

- Requires Android 10 or better
- Requires iOS 17 or better, but there are directions for iOS 16 users to download an older version of the app

If you cannot update to a compatible OS then you'll have to access eBay from a web browser on your device and you'll probably want to delete the app so links open in your browser instead of the app.
