App Keeps Making Me Log In Every 1-2 Days

Hi, hoping to get an answer here but I had no issues with the Ebay app from when I got my Pixel 2xl phone until about August or September then all of a sudden (assuming with either an Ebay or Android update) the app keeps making me log in when it rarely had before.  It's really frustrating and I never know when its going to make me log in hoping its not when I'm trying to win an auction at the last second.  I use the 2 step authentication because of an attempted hack into my account and don't want to get rid of that to fix the issue if that's whats doing it.  I tried logging in using my password and through Facebook and it does the same thing regardless.

I'm experiencing the same (also with 2-factor enabled).

Contacted customer service last week, no reply as of now.

Turning off 2-factor is also not an option for me.

As some kind of workaround I installed the ebay Chrome extension, which at least gives consistent alerts without the need of logging in once a day.

I will probably uninstall the app and look for alternatives to ebay, as the app and their service seem to have gotten worse over the last years.
