3 days ago my Apple IOS updated itself changing the search display and stopping me from making repeat purchases with the following message - “We did not find your transaction in our system (Trading.396)”. In fact I get this message just trying to view the seller’s listing.
I have uninstalled/reinstalled the App twice but still not working. If I uninstall the App, I can view these items and make repeat purchases using Safari and can also do it on my PC so it’s not something wrong with my account. This morning an App Store update for eBay appeared, 6.4.0, which I installed but still have the same problem.
Please advise on a fix.

Update to this - I’ve just noticed it only happens with older purchases.

We are looking into this error. In the meantime you should be able to re-purchase older purchases via the mobile and desktop website.

I have this too and I’m unable to make any purchases on ebay whatsoever
