User not responding after saying product had a defect...

At first the user complained that there was a problem with a console that i sold because it wouldnt read games or something, so I explainen how to fix it. i also sent a third message but Still no response and i can't just sit here on money that i don't know if i can spend or not. how long does a user have until they can't file a dispute or return an item.
