Seller Blocked Me Because He Didn't Like My Offer Price

Hi All,

I made an offer on an item, and the seller got mad and told me that the price was a 1/3 less than what he was selling for item for, told me he blocked me from all of his auctions and told me to go buy elsewhere.  The funy thing is he never even made a counteroffer and instead belittled me and flew off the handle.  What is this seller's point of even having the "make an offer" with his terrible attitude?  The question I have is does the seller blocking me have any impact on my ability to make purchase from other sellers or dent my rating in any way?
