large jar of marbles do you know what they are called ?

found these in jar in old basement ? I know nothing about them. Any help will be great thank you

The majority looks to be cats eyes marbles look under cats eyes on ebay there you will have a great selection of them and then you can compare. usually though if these type take hits they lose value cheers.:)
