Hi. My name is Jackie and I'm new to the world of vintage jewelry. I am reading and watching videos to learn everything that I can. A few days ago I watched a video about identifying unmarked Miriam Haskell and I realized that I had a few pieces from a lot that I had acquired that looked just like it. I can't find any marks and I'm wondering if anyone would be willing to take a look and give your opinion. I would be grateful for any insight you may have. Thank you.

Hi Jackie, yeah this is going to be tough because she didn't sign her early pieces. She is quite popular with collectors so there is a great deal of info about her pieces and I'll send you one.

The clip is not Haskell. The stones are too new and all wrong; that is a more modern piece. Haskell would rarely if ever have had glued stones. The earrings are also too modern. I'm assuming the spirals are earrings. Haskell lived in the era of clip on earrings.

Hello Jackie - welcome to the world of buying, selling, collecting vintage jewelry! I agree with the last post - both items are modern from the last 20 years. I used to repair Haskell jewelry for dealers - what made it so valuable (and time consuming to repair) is the fact that almost all findings were wired in place. Pinbacks and the haskell tags were soldered onto back filigree pieces - which were also wired into place. I have only seen glue used in a few Haskell pieces manufactured post 1980.
