Navajo? Turquoise? ring hallmark help- TIA

i bought two turquoise 9I think this is turquoise, I don't know, I am still trying to learn about it) rings at an outdoor antique show today.  This is one, and I have now clue about the "hallmark" in it.  I believe it is Navajo because of the constructions.  The gold overlay is rosy in color....it is stamped "sterling" inside and was tested as such.  Please give me your opinions on it- and maybe the stone is glass?  I don't know.  Thanks.

I believe the overlay is 12k gf. Sterling underneath. I have had replies from other boards- one saying reconstituted turquoise, the other suggesting rare Snowville variscite.

I think the stone looks like spiderweb turquoise, as pictured on Google images.

Hi Valley,  I thought spiderweb turquoise, too, but the color is off.  Here is a picture of a larger specimen of the Snowville variscite- I am supplying this for reference for the joolies out there- if you see it, grab it.
