Looks like a natural tiger's eye to me.

Thanks for reply, I guess whatever I'm seeing on the back is either cut/unpolished stone or maybe an adhesive of some kind.

Why this looks like a natural tiger's eye to me are the striations and the colors matching front thru to back. You are correct the difference is the back is not polished and has globs of glue around the edges 🙂
