Help With Cut of Crystal Beads

Is there a sprcific name for the cut of these crystal beads. I know my photography on them is not that great..looks like a buch of triangles 'puzzled together'. Any color showing is a reflection

Also any idea on age? It is strung on string, sport ring clasp is marked Sterling..approx 16"

You have tested these? Cause they look like Rock Crystal to me. Maybe it is because the facets look like the terminations on natural crystals.

I second the rock crystal.  Marie tested a strand for me and they came out positive. I just referred to it as faceted, but Im sure there's a better word.  I think they are 30s or 40s
