Does anyone know whodunni? European 18k mark on a parrot

This is probably a wild goose, but I found this in an estate sale over the weekend.  Thought it was sterling ...whoops.  There's a numeric mark that I don't recognize.

Have you tested the stones? That is a cool parrot pin!

THUD!

What a gorgeous parrot. I bet those are rubies, emeralds and diamonds. ... sold as sterling, just love this  ... we all dream of these finds.

And it is a pendant too?

Yes on the pendant.  I'm taking it to have the clear stones tested tomorrow.  The green is probably chrysoprase, but the eye is a ruby cab.  The other is carnelian and shell.  It's the white stones I'm not sure of.  They could be CZ, quartz, topaz, or diamonds.  I'm definitely NOT melting this one.  Just wish I knew whodunnit.

Great score, Ev!  Even if it were just sterling silver with acrylic stones it would be very cool, but to turn it over and see the !8kt must have been a happy shock.  I'll bet the white stones are diamonds.  It's a beauty!

You'd win - I had it tested today.  They're diamonds. I spent about $70 total at that sale - went back the next day and spent another $11 on a string of amber beads and a gift for a friend.  Cat Very Happy
