Hello found this at a tag sale and don't know much about the maker. Marked Dianna Hamro; are these real pearls? Large brooch marked on the back and I also was curious of value / or estimate as best you could, age, this is really unfamiliar to me. This measures 4" x 3" would you call it a butterfly? oh thank you in advance, Mary
Here is a link to her bio. Seems she made costume jewelry for a little while then went back to making fine jewelry. Any other marks on the piece? Looks like the pearls are drilled when I look underneath.... you could do a tooth test, but then you risk peeling costume pearls.

Seems she has a facebook page, too. I would see if I could post the picture of the piece to her FB page and see if she answers. I have done this with other designers.
