Anyone know this mark? Shamrock in a horseshoe

These are cuff links and pretty old.  The ship is the America's Cup winner Puritan from 1885.  These could be pretty old.

Anyone know this mark? Shamrock in a horseshoe

Hi, I googled a bit and found where someone had asked on the 925-1000 site about the same mark and this was the answer:

I think that is one of the marks used by Parks Bros. & Rogers Providence, Rhode Island (1892-1930).

I found that one too.  It's close but not quite the same.  They test as silver.

THIS on the other hand shows the full mark, which includes mine.  It's theirs.

I'm surprised the company isn't named something along the lines of "lucky" using those symbols!

Their luck ran out - the horseshoe is upside-down. 🙂
