What kind of glass is this? Is it a vase?

Can anyone tell me what kind of glass this is? Maybe a vase? Faintly etched “1/4L” near the rim with a line under. About 6 3/4” tall and 3” at the widest.

@mtkms

1/4 of a liter is 250 ml, which is a bit more than a cup / 8 ounces / 236 ml. That sounds about right for the given size 6' tall x 3' diameter.

I would say it is a drinking glass that holds 1/4 liter.

A vase would not have 1/4 L(iter) to the top rim. A 'soda fountain' ice cream shake glass might but is really just too small. A '50's FOOTED ICE TEA GLASS would be just right. Sets of ICE TEA GLASSES have always been popular on ebay.  The best to you!

The only thing I can come up with that would be marked like that is a beer/pilsner glass.
