There is a number of carbon monoxide detector listings on Ebay, none of them having a certifying symbol or a note. That detector is a life guardian and should not be advertised if it does not meet a UL-2034 or similar standard. This issue was covered a year ago, as described here - they say Ebay removed the listing of one specific brand, but there are still numerous non-named listings. There is no option to report this issue to Ebay. My question: is there a way for anyone to do anything about this?
Quote from the link:
"On average, an estimated 148 people in the United States die each year from accidental exposure to carbon monoxide produced by consumer products such as gas furnaces and ranges. Because carbon monoxide alarms are a critical line of defense against accidental poisoning, it’s imperative that they work properly."

You should take your complaint to eBay. You cannot control what is listed or who buys a substandard system.
