Hi everyone, first time poster. I’ve recently returned to EBay to purchase skin care, broke, that’s the reason lol. Anyway, I have seen numerous listings of La Mer, usually the soft cream, for absolutely ridiculously low prices! 3.4 ounce for less than $60!!! There is no way that is authentic and I don’t know what it is being allowed. It would be the equivalent of me listing one of my Louis Vuitton purses for say, $100. It would be insane. Mine are real lol, that’s why it would be insane. So what is going on? Could someone be this crazy or just wanting to move the product? Their feedback gives no evidence of prior bad behavior…

I am just saying this in case someone looks this up- it is because it is not real La Mer, it is just counterfeit which of course is going to happen when it costs so much. I mean they counterfeit stuff like Bare Minerals make-up, so of course they will counterfeit La Mer. People buy it and never even notice the difference because La Mer is not actually all that much better than say, Oil of Olay Regenerist. The counterfeit La Mer will try to copy the feel and smell. Products from China are actually quite good at this, they can make quite good dupes that you would have no idea are any different but the quality is just not the same.
