Removing Authentic items from ebay

Hello, Need help on why I have had 3 or 4 different louis vuitton handbags removed from my site saying they are counterfiet. I had one yesterday customer ask me to add additional pictures (this one has been on the site for months) and I add pictures and all sudden it was removed.  And it was sold after they removed it  This is at least the 2nd one one like this that I edited and then it was removed.  Also had another one I add and it was just removed, I think my account is dinged so many times I will never be able to sell another high end bag.

I have 2 bags I would like to list but I dont know what I am doing wrong. I take good pictures and show the date code.

Where did you get the bags?

Re: Removing Authentic items from ebay

Forgive me for contradicting you about your pictures but the Bedford bag you sold in November did not have good pictures. The third picture was (I guess) the interior of the bag but it is completely out of focus and of no use to a potential buyer.  There are effectively no pictures of interior of the bag, including the Louis Vuitton impressed name and place of manufacture.  The last 3 pictures were 2 failed and 1 successful attempt to show the date code.  The first 2 should not have been posted.  The date code is not photographed in a way to show where it is placed inside the bag, and appears to have problems with raggedness where it is sewn to the inside.  There are no close-up pictures of the hardware of the straps/handles or of the zipper pull.

In short - there is not sufficient information provided by those pictures to help a buyer judge the authenticity and condition of the bag.

The Forsyth, sold the same month has similar problems including inconsistent color control so that detail is unclear and some of the pictures make the bag look like a completely different color.  The last pic indicates that there's a drawstring dustbag but all that's show of it is the top, so the potential buyer can't see the whole bag or the printing on it to gauge it's quality and whether the printing is correct for LV.

The St Jacques bag was carelessly listed as StJacques in both the title and description and the Item Specifics refer to it as Louis Vuitton Louise - which is incorrect.  The pictures of the interior are blurry and confusing regarding color.

So your pictures and descriptions haven't helped you to reassure buyers or eBay that these pieces are authentic.   Putting AUTH in the title doesn't help either - the abbreviation AUTH instead of AUTHENTIC can come off like a disclaimer, and items are supposed to be authentic anyway, so when a seller announces in the title and listing that the item is 'AUTH' it doesn't inspire confidence.

Your descriptions are painfully inadequate - a single line giving an overall statement but no detail.

I don't have any comment to make on the actual bags themselves.  Just the listings.
