Kate Spade Authentication Help Needed :)

Hi all! I have another Kate Spade bag I would like your opinions on. I received such quick help with my last one that I knew I should come here for this one. I am not certain at all about this bag. If it's not genuine, it's okay. I only gave $5 for it, so it won't be a huge loss. It's a straw handbag. The label is what bothers me the most.

I'd bet you can peel that KS label on the front right off.

Sorry, but that does not look like KS quality IMO.

The sides of the label are stitched but the top and bottom are not. If I pull at the top or bottom of the label it does come up. It has some sort of a backing on it.
Sigh. Oh well. 🙂
Like I said, I didn't spend a whole lot on it, so that's a good thing!

Yeah, sorry. It's definitely fake. 

kate spade labels have very specific details of the font that are more obvious when compared side-by-side to authentic item(s). 

Both the comps are authentic. Note the serifs, the shape of the a and k.

Thanks! I can see the difference now. The 's' and 'p' are too close on mine as well. Oh, and I notice the 'd'. The top of it goes to the left like the fake 'k' instead of to the right.

counterfeit. just a random bag with a fake label. not even a knockoff of a ks design.
