I was given this Burberry trench. I want to make sure it’s the real thing - not just a decent possible imposter. I’d appreciate the opinion of another on this piece.
At first glance, I questioned it because there is no large logo hang tag. I understand that those are somewhat difficult to remove. However, there are other tags that say “Burberry” in the all-caps lettering you’d hope to see, as well as a tag reading “The Sandringham” - one of their designs. All of the buttons are labeled “Burberry” - but in a cursive font, rather than the usual. The outer fabric feels decent, the inner nova check lining feels a little thin, so I do question that a bit, but the pattern seems to align well.
Tag reads “MADE IN U.K.” Outer and inner materials are 100% cotton, while the sleeve lining is 100% viscose.
