Cartier Authentication

Get it authenticated by a jeweler but IMO (and strictly my opinion) it's counterfeit. If nothing else the band would never, ever say "genuine (I assume alligator)". It would be stamped Cartier and made in France or made in Austria and have a code stamp. If the band were a replacement band that wasn't Cartier this wouldn't be an issue but it is stamped Cartier. The stitching is awful and I believe the band should be skiived so that it's much thicker at the watch. Also, I could definitely be wrong on this but I think that the back of the watch is incorrect and is a version of the one that goes on the skeleton back.

Where did you get it? What were you told?

Bottom line is that I don't think you should go by opinions here on a watch like that but I for sure see problems. Hope I wrong.

It does appear to be a better-than-most counterfeit copy of the Pasha.  Here's a genuine CARTIER watch to which you can compare.

Absolutely take it to a jeweler. They can look at the movement to tell if it's real. Also, i'd contact cartier and ask them. There's a phone number contact us link at the bottom of www.cartier.us.
