Any assistance is greatly appreciated. I don't know much about this sort of thing but I'd like to get some opinions before listing it. I know that not all scarves are Made in France and I know that vintage ones are not always signed.
Not signed by the artist but it DOES have the Hermes Paris stamp
DOES have the downward facing mark on the e in Hermes.
Hand stitched and the stitching DOES match the main colorway.
Measures 35" x 35"
I have attached some photos for your inspection.

Please wait for Vanessa who’s the board Hermes scarf specialist but IMO it’s counterfeit. The tag is incorrect, the twill is weird, the font on the scarf is wrong and it appears to be rolled to the back unless I’m reading the pictures incorrectly.

I'll ditto the first 2 ladies, and wait for Vanessa to confirm.
The wrong Country Of Origin label & the Hermès Calèche logo printed on the body of the scarf (instead of the usual Hermès Paris in the design) are the two main giveaways to me.
If I remember correctly, the calèche was only used on early vintage scarf labels. And Hermès scarves are always Made in France
For future reference, Geoff Clarke's Hermès Scarf Guides are a valuable information resource worth bookmarking.

Fake. As soon as I saw the tags included a language other than French or English, I knew...
regards, and love to all,
Vanessa
