does Ebay do anything to make sellers be a little bit accurate with their listings? here's the example; look up any wireless charger for a samsunf note 8,,,, most of them list a price of 8-10-15 dollars until you actualy pick your specific model then the price jumps to 20+$? all of the options listed are 20+ dollars, how / why can they list it as 8-10 bucks when they dont offer anything for that price? it's misleading and dishonest.

Believe it or not this is quite common in the Cell phone sales world, instead of having multiple listings a seller will put various cords thus at different price points usually the thicker or longer the cord the more pricey, fully understand your point but that's the way it works.... Sigs70

Ebay's Reporting appears to be broken on a fundamental level. For at least 2 years their Reporting system fails to offer coherent sub-categories for when descriptions are clearly misleading. In this example, a seller claims the item is:
* A lens hood
* A UV filter
* A Circular Polarizer (CPL)
It can't be all 3. Such a thing does not exist and certainly not for 99 cents!
There are idiots who say "Use the money back guarantee". But people should not have to waste their time bidding, then waste time waiting for the item to arrive, then discovering it does not function as claimed (this can sometimes take a while), then have to file with ebay, wait to get their money back and renew their search for what they wanted in the first place.
