I recently, purchased a Micro SD card, Samsung 256 gb. and paid a lot of mony.
First thing I have visually inspect, "Made in Korea", the sides of the card are Black,
Next, I go to Samsung website to register for warranty, The website messages "Invalid serial number.." and "Invalid Model number"
I used apps: A1 SD card Bench test, SD-Insight, and H2testw... Results:
- A1 SD bench gives 9MB/sec read test
- SD insight gives "Invalid" and message "Wait for loading/and running software in .."
it takes 12 mins for to complete this process. I believe this process is "compressing"
- H2testw run in about 36 hrs. with results: "2gb usable, 248 gb corruptable, unused,
9mb/s read, 3.6 mb/s write,.."
My own test: I tried to store 1.2 GB my data, it took 3 hrs, but the SD's property shows
it took 16.4 gb. It shows all filenames and folders but all of them have 0.0kb, I clicked
on one of these files the Windows return error message, "Invalid filename..."
Ebay refunded, I wish no ones on Ebay get this fake item. it wasts times.
Item is sent from China, The Saller is in England.

Unfortunately there are literally hundreds of these on ebay. I see fake SD card and USB drive posts on these forums on a daily basis.

If the seller is in UK you can file fraud charges. They have a working legal system.
