When eyes are too tightly wrapped they can get warped.

at the bottom (after she explains how to fix eyes!) she suggests simply placing the doll face down so the weight rests on her face, not hanging in the middle of the head.
Yes, the box will get turned upside down, but most of the time the label will be facing up.
I have recieved dolls safely where the shipper simply carefully bubble wrapped the doll and did not tightly bind the eyes. (It is also possible to wreck the eyelashes if bound/taped incorrectly)
