Seems we all have our favorite places on the internet to search.
I kind of like Mozilla, Wikipidia.org, Yahoo.
Google has been throwing so much junk at me when searching none of our computers are strong enough to ever load it all up. Yahoo is starting to do the same thing.
What are some of your favorite places to search on the web?

I am going to date myself here but I remember when there were so many search engines you actually went to a search engine that searched all the search engines. There used to be one called "All The Web" that was wonderful but one of the biggies bought it out.
I prefer Bing and Dogpile although I use Google too. I'm trying to figure out how to change the default setting on my IPhone. I'm not quite sure what search engine it's using but I always get Wikipedia first.

I tried using Yahoo to search for a comic book recently and it didn't come up at all, gave too many weird links for blogs that were talking about the book.
Went to google and boom... there it is.
Been having to use google to find things ON ebay sometimes, the search has been horrible on here.
I like Mozilla better than IE for a web browser mainly because it doesn't crash and has some good add ons that can help protect you more from things like hidden trojan programs that are on those "pictures of cute kitties" that you just liked on your facebook page. I never like things that are not posted by friend directly. I still am trying to pound this lesson into my hubbies head, plus he likes websites that are prone to get attacked, like "mycomicbookmovie" or blastr.
So I get to go hunting down why the heck our computer CPU is running at 100percent when it's just on idle and find out he "just clicked" on a story about a new movie. Oh well, what else do I have to do but list another a couple thousand comic books:)
I'm thinking BIGGER lots medium flat rates hold about 50 books! Or Zone B boxes ship at the 4lb rate and hold about the same, so if customer lives close they pay less shipping.
OK. night all, better go unwind myself and crank up the tens unit.

Solonoir I laughed when reading you thinking your dating yourself with those old search engines. That was a good one.
They had so much negative pressa about Microsoft Explorer I removed it from the system. Been using Mozilla mostly. Like someone else said they have an option to be free from someone following you around. If you right click on the icon it should pull up a choice box. Its called "New Private Window" on my ststem. When clearing cookies there are none there now.
I close the window and open another one every time I finish with something in the web browzer. Always done that. Makes me feel if someone if following along they are cut off.
My favorite is go to Pandora. So much good music in there. Some days I listen to oldies. Some days healing music. Its all there
Feeling better lately. Hope others are the same way

Never thought that Google would be clogging up our computers. My desktop had some major crashes and I had to have Windows 8.1 installed.
Still having problems, so trying to figure out what else is wrong.
Something to think about!

I've got 8.1 installed too. I don't know if it's Google or Windows but I have had problems since day one. I miss Windows XP. Microsoft send out an offer for a free upgrade to Windows 10. I signed up. It coldn't be much worse than 8.1
