the form of the candy dish and the finial on the top lid looks like a Tiffin candy dish, "gold encrusted", but would not at this time rule out the cambridge answer. i do not know the design of the gold. there is a group in portland oregon "rain of glass", that might be able to help you further..look them up and "contact". very nice people. we have been to many of their annual shows 🙂
